Today I left my house @ 7am to go to Jurong Bird Park to participate in the Feather Run 2009. It is a 1.2km fun run around the Bird Park. I was really excited! I like to go Bird Park, coz. I will get to see many kind of birds, like penguin, parrots. Mummy and me wore the same t-shirt for the run. At 8.30am, we set off.. Mummy kept asking me to go slow, coz. the ground was really slippery after the rain yesterday. At 400m, we stopped to have a drink, and then off we go again! Mummy asked me to walk when we were running up the slope but I kept asking mummy if we can continue to run. Mummy scared I would not have the energy to finish. We finished the run @ about 8.40am.
After the run, we joined the colouring competition. I did not want to colour after a while but mummy helped me with some. Look at my colouring, dun they look nice!!! I also asked the "jie jie" to paint spiderman on my hand. Cool man!
Then , it was the Bird show... I got to see Flamingo, pelican, eagle, parrots, tuncan and many more.
I did not win anything for the colouring competition and the lucky draw. I was really upset and I cried... Then, we went MacDonald to eat lunch and I got a small toy from the Kid's meal.
