POSB Run for Kids

Today I went for my 3rd Run in 2009. It was POSB Run for Kids. The run took place at Seng Kang East Drive which is very near our home. At 7am, I woke up very excitedly, without mummy calling me up. Mummy kept telling me that it might rain, and that I may not get to run. But luckily, when we reached the running start point, it did not rain. Yeah! We waited for about 20 mins, before we walked over to the start point to prepare for the run. Soon, the run started. I did not hold mummy's hand to run and I could run very fast. Mummy asked me to slow down many times, afraid that I may not have the energy to finish up the run. I stopped for a short while to rest, and then, off I go again! I ran faster than mummy! I understand from mummy that the run was 1.6km, longest run I have ever took part.

After the run, I asked daddy to let me take part in one of the games at the carnival. I was given a stick with a hook, and I had to use the stick to hook any of the toys in the water. I got hold of a duck and a tortoise and I was then given a "Pickup-Sitx" toy and a super band. After that, as mummy and daddy were very hungry, we went to eat breakfast.

I like to run, because it make me a strong boy.

Malaysia trip

I just got back from Malaysia. I had great fun when I was there. With us, were Xinyi jie jie, kailing, Fangzhe, weiling, Aunty jenny & uncle Wilson, and Aunty Phyllis & uncle Edmund. We went there by Coach. There were also a lot of aunties and uncles in the tour. At one of the hotel, I saw a very big Snake & Ladder and a very big Chess set. One of the day was also mummy's birthday. She was asked up the stage and we sang birthday song for her. During the dinner, I also joined daddy to play the man-made jackpot. But I did not win anything. On the coach, I sat at the last row, and played Uno and many other games with the rest of the children. Mummy also bought a ben-10 toy for me. I really enjoyed myself and I would ask Mummy and Daddy to bring me there again! Yeah!!!!

Today is Cleavant's birthday!

Today is Cleavant's Birthday! After my art class, I took MRT with Mummy to Po po's house to meet Daddy and Ice. The party is held at Safra Kids Adventure @ Toa Payoh. When we reached there, Po po and gong gong are already there! I want to go and play @ the playgound, but mummy stopped me. I need to finish my lunch before going down. After about 15 mins, I am asked to return to the function room. We played 3 games. After Cleavant cut his cake, we went back to the playground to play. By 6pm, mummy asked me to stop and we went off.

I had a great time at Cleavant's party! I also want to have my birthday party at the playground! I asked mummy but she did not say anything. Maybe mummy would grant my wish.....

What a busy day!

Today was indeed a very busy day for me. First, after my art class, I stayed back at United Square to watch Ben 10. The queue was really long, but luckily mummy has already gotten a queue no. for me for the "meet & greet" session with Ben 10. The show was great! I saw Ben, Fourarms and Wildmutt fighting bad guys! After the show, I took photo with Fourarms. (I had a hard time choosing who to take photo with!) Look at the photo, dun I look small inside the arms of Fourarms!

In the evening, I went to Singapore Expo to watch "The Little Big Club Live in Concert". Mummy remembered the wrong timing. The show was supposed to start @ 5pm, but Mummy thought it was @ 5.30pm. Hence, by the time, we reached there, we were about 20 minutes late. I did not get to see the "Fireman". But I was in time to watch Bob the Builder... Yippee yippee yah yah! After the toilet break, we got to see 2 more charaters; the Angelina Ballerina and Barney & his friends! Mummy kept asking me to go to the front to dance with Barney, but I did not want! I no longer liked Barney, coz. I am a big boy now! After the show, we went to look for Daddy and had our dinner at the food court.

It was a busy and tiring day but I enjoyed myself very much!

Parkway Parade

On Saturday morning, mummy and daddy brought me to Parkway Parade. Mickey Mouse is having a workshop at the shopping centre. Initially I did not want to play, coz. I am scared. But the more I saw what the other children are doing, the more I wanted to play. So, in the end, when mummy asked me if I want to play for the 3rd time, I nodded my head. Mummy and me joined in the queue. There were at least 10 other children in front of us. When we reached the front of the queue after about 30 mins wait, mummy filled up a form with the "jie jie" at the counter, and she used a thermometer to check our temperature. After all this was done, we are finally inside the workshop. First, it was a colouring activity. I used colour pencils to colour the Handy man picture. Then, it was the handyman workshop. Over there, I got to know what the saw is used for, the torchlight is used for and the hammer is used for. After this, it was the Einsten's music room. I used a tumperline to hit some rhythm. Next, it was the winnie pooh. I rode on the Scooter and went through the track. I saw winnie the pooh, tigger and piglet along the way. And finally, it was the Mickey Mouse section. I had to find the right shape and right colour and to complete the large floor jigsaw pizzle. I was given a nice Mickey mouse tote bag at the end of the workshop.

It was fun! I had a great time at the mickey mouse workshop!

Cold Storage Kids Run 2009

Today is the Cold Storage Kids Run 2009. I was being awaken by mummy @ about 7am to get ready for the run. When we reached Padang, it was crowded with people. I was not really very excited, as I wanted very much to sleep! We waited for almost half an hour before the race started. I kept asking mummy why we have to wait so long for my turn??? "Honk...." the race started. Mummy and me started running. As we were running too fast, my stomach was very painful. Mummy slowed down , and soon we finished our race. I was very tired and sweat a lot after the run. Auntie passed me my medal and a plastic bag with water inside.

After the run, we went to the Carnival to play games. I tried to play many games and even got a chance to slide down the mega floating slide (in the shape of an aeroplane). I did not get any prize until we played the "Rattle the Bottle". Finally I won something.. I won a plastic disposable fan!

Finally, it was the Magic Show. The magician was so funny... I had a great tine laughing at him!

It was fun but tired... I slept from 1.30pm to 5.30pm for my afternoon nap.

I am sick

Today I woke up, and called for mummy and daddy. When Daddy carried me to Mummy and Daddy's bed, mummy touched me, and told Daddy that my body was hot! Mummy suspected that I was sick but after measuring my temperature, I did not have fever. Just that my body was hotter than normal. I kept telling mummy that I felt hot. Mummy asked me if I want to see doctor, I cried! I don't want to go see doctor! I scared I will need to have injection! In the end, mummy said I don't need to go to school, I just have to stay at po po's house to rest! Yippee.... I shouted in my heart! I don't need to go to school today, I can play with mei mei and cleavant, and I can watch a lot of TV programmes at po po's house. Also, I can play the video games in the tv.

Though I got to play and watch a lot of tv at po po's house, I felt very sleepy and restless. When mummy and daddy brought me home, I just lied down on the sofa to wait for mummy to be out from the bathroom. After having my medicine, and that daddy has cleaned me with cool water, I went to bed!

Maybe tomorrow I don't need to go to school again! I heard mummy telling daddy earlier....

My First Bowling Experience

On Sunday evening, daddy and mummy brought me to Raffles Town Club to play bowling. Gu gu, Cleavant, Clelia, yi-ma, yi-zhang, Shaun shaun, and Jeremy were also there. Kin-kin, has rented a pair of bowling shoes for me. I still thought I would not get to play at all. The size 2 shoes were too small, and hence kin-kin changed to a bigger pair for me. Shaun Shaun keyed in my name into the computer, and soon shortly after Cleavant's turn, I saw my name. I was really excited about it. Mummy helped to pick up a ball for me (with a no. 6 on it), and soon, with her holding the ball with me, I had my first throw. "Bomp"! it was certainly very loud when the ball hit the lane, and yi-zhang kept saying that soon the lane would have a big hole. I learnt that I need to put my thumb into the first hole at the top, and then 3rd and 4th fingers at the bottom 2. After a few throws, mummy decided to let me hold the ball myself and throw it myself. Though the ball was slow, I was able to hit at least 2 pins. Yeah!!! I know how to bowl already! My game ended with a score of 70. Mummy said it is not too bad for a first-timer. I want to bowl again... I would ask mummy and daddy to bring me again!

Kranji Countryside

Today we went with Gu gu, cleavant & Celia to Jurong Frog Farm. This was my first visit. When we reached there, there was not many people. We saw a lot of frogs, got big ones and small ones. This was my first time I saw them croak, when they croaked, the whole body and their face will inflate like a balloon. I asked mummy when they made such sound, but mummy did not know the answer too. After a while, we are done with seeing all the frogs in the farm. There wasn't really much to see. As it is still early, gu gu suggested going to Goat Farm. We saw the signage when we were driving to the Frog Farm.

At the Goat farm, it was quite crowded. They were a lot of people drinking the goat milk. We were late for the milking process, as such we did not get to see how the goats are milked. We walked around, and we saw Mother goat and baby goat. At one of the fence, we saw 1 old goat pass urine and pass motion. Their motion was small like marble but many. It was very smelly! After that, we went on to try the goat milk. Daddy and me did not dare to try but mummy finished the whole bottle. She said it was fresh but not sweet. We wanted to go to another place, the wetland reserve, but as it is already 12pm, we decided to give it a miss today and to go back again another day.

I learnt baby goat is call Kid, papa goat is called billy goat and the meat of goat is Chevon, not mutton.

Labour Day

Mummy and daddy brought me to Marina Barrage on Labour Day. I did not want to go, coz. I want to go IMM, but mummy and daddy refused. No choice loh! It was very hot and crowded when we reached there. We had to wait for about 5 minutes for a carpark lot. We took a lift up to the Roof top, whereby we saw many people flying kites there. After which, we went to the exhibition hall, where we saw many interesting things, like the model of the barrage. Mummy explained to me how the barrage worked, it was cool man! Though I don't really understand, I kept telling mummy I know.....Then, we took a photo with the Barrage as the background.

After the Marina Barrage, mummy and daddy decided to grant my wish. We went to IMM! Yippee yippee yah yah! I wanted to play at the wet pool but as Ice did not bring extra set of clothings, I can only play at the dry playground. Mummy went off to shop! By 1.30pm, we left the playground to eat lunch @ the Kopitiam. Over there, I ordered my favourite food, jap food.

By 2pm, we left IMM for home sweet home. What an exciting and fulfilling day!

My Lightning McQueen room

Mummy has finally pasted the Lightning Mcqueen stickers on the walls of my bedroom. I was really excited about it! I kept telling mummy that it was all because of me, that the room looked so nice now! I was the one who told mummy to buy the stickers, though initially she wanted to buy Winnie the Pooh border stickers. Luckily, there is no more stock for the Winnie the Pooh Border stickers, if not I would never be able to buy the Lightning McQueen stickers!

Mummy counted the total no. of stickers, all in all, there was 15 car stickers and 10 logo stickers. After that, she grouped them into group of 3 cars and 2 logo stickers and pasted them across the wall beside my bed. Look at the picture, dun they look cool!

Feather Run 2009 @ Jurong Bird Park

Today I left my house @ 7am to go to Jurong Bird Park to participate in the Feather Run 2009. It is a 1.2km fun run around the Bird Park. I was really excited! I like to go Bird Park, coz. I will get to see many kind of birds, like penguin, parrots. Mummy and me wore the same t-shirt for the run. At 8.30am, we set off.. Mummy kept asking me to go slow, coz. the ground was really slippery after the rain yesterday. At 400m, we stopped to have a drink, and then off we go again! Mummy asked me to walk when we were running up the slope but I kept asking mummy if we can continue to run. Mummy scared I would not have the energy to finish. We finished the run @ about 8.40am.

After the run, we joined the colouring competition. I did not want to colour after a while but mummy helped me with some. Look at my colouring, dun they look nice!!! I also asked the "jie jie" to paint spiderman on my hand. Cool man!

Then , it was the Bird show... I got to see Flamingo, pelican, eagle, parrots, tuncan and many more.

I did not win anything for the colouring competition and the lucky draw. I was really upset and I cried... Then, we went MacDonald to eat lunch and I got a small toy from the Kid's meal.

My new bed has arrived!

Yippeee Yah Yah!!! My new bed has finally arrived! Dun I look cool on it!! Mummy has also bought a very nice bedsheet set for the new bed! I can't wait to sleep in it tonight..... I can climb up and down the ladder and I can go under the bed to play hide and seek with Ice! I can also put my favorite toys and books at the pockets hanging by my bed. Okie, perhaps I will place my bakugan there for tonight, power ranger tomorrow and Spiderman the next.....

My Swimming Class

Today was my first day of my swimming class after 2 weeks' break. Mummy helped me to apply sunblock lotion when we were on our way to Safra Tampines. I was really happy and excited about it!!!

I was able to kick and blow bubble. Coach praised me that I did well... I must learn to swim without coach's help soon! After my lesson, mummy said she would swim with me on my next lesson.. I will then play the water gun with her next week! Yippee!!!!

How I wish Sunday is tomorrow!

Mummy brought me to Golf House on Sunday night and bought me a set of US Kids Golf Blue System. Besides, she also bought me a pair of matching gloves! I am really very happy and excited when the lady at the cashier passed them to mummy... Yippee!!! I finally got to have 1 golf set for myself! I can't wait to show my friends and teachers at the KinderGolf! I told mummy I still have to wait so long for Sunday to come. Oh man!!!! How I wish today is already Sunday! I asked mummy if I can tell Po po, again, I am asked not to do so... I am supposed to keep it as a secret too, coz. if po po knows, she will scold mummy for anyhow spend money. Okie, I would keep mum about it!!! How I miss Sunday is tomorrow!

My Tigger bedroom slippers

Mummy and daddy brought me to pasa malam on Friday evening. Over there, mummy bought me a pair of tigger bedroom slippers... Look at the photo, dun I look cute in them! I did not want to take the photos, but mummy forced me to do so! I really loved them! I wore them and walked around my house for the whole of Saturday morning. Ice almost cannot stand me. Ha ha.....
